Pretty sure that IF your state inspection cares about an airbag light, they will probably REALLY care that there is actually no airbag.

I have re-sealed my car like 4 times with various stuff, no joy. I suggest, and this is a giant project, removing the entire dash and hosing from the outside while you sit inside. It will take you forever to find it I bet. At present, my cowl is rubbercoated ... it looks like it is made of plastic n...
