Another Chevy Z in the fleet

I've been wanting to build a GMT800 "K5 Blazer" since my stupid brain thought of it and I photoshopped it. Looks too good not to become reality. So I've had my eye out for a deal and snagged this fully loaded 2006 Z71 cause it was too good to pass up. Super clean, almost zero rust...sketchy 4l60...for $750.
The wifey really likes it though, she's always wanted one, so she may keep it a while. I'm counting on expensive gas keeping her from driving it.
I have Super duty axles, Jeep leafs, 37s and an SM465 waiting for the Blazer...but they could be equally as good in this. We'll see how life goes. I may put em in the Blazer, and then this thing once the Blazer breaks in half. haha

Fixed it. Hated it. Sold it.

Plan was to get the wife out of her 2018 Subaru and into something that had more room, heated leather, sunroof and that I could keep running forever. The Subaloser was already doing some weird electrical stuff with windows and stereo that had a mind of their own.
She wanted an automatic so I put a 4l60 in it. She didn't like driving it cause it felt "too big and boaty". I didn't like driving it cause the auto was so slushy and soulless. I did use it some cause it was nice to have a covered 8ft bed with the seats folded down, but it also nickle and dimed me on stupid little stuff that was annoying to fix. Some of the same stuff that I fix on my other cars just fine, but it's more annoying when you don't love the car.
So I put it up on marketplace and it was gone in a week. Doubled my money (or better). Adios.
Oh and I didn't to the 2dr conversion obviously. A few people had the same idea I did and completed it while I had let mine sit for 2 years. So I wouldn't be ground breaking any more...and the parts list needed to 5spd swap it and de-soccer-mom it had quite the price tag. I did grab an NV4500 for it, but the clutch pedal and firewall bracket and remote shifter needed for the console and everything was more than I wanted to spend on something I wasn't in love with. And I knew if I kept it I would also do wheels and tires and exhaust and...
